The earth is comprised of two thirds water. There are beaches across the globe across the globe, all the way from South Africa to England to Australia to Croatia. And there are even nine beaches in Antarctica. There's a beach for every person on the planet. There's a place for all.
When you hear the word "beach", most people think of sunny, warm beaches with palm trees and refreshing cocktails. A beach ball, a suit and plenty of time to relax are all that is needed. Beaches can come in many shapes. They can be white, pink or even pebbled. There are a myriad of sea animals on them, including crabs, birds, fish, corals, and even fish. There are two major categories of beaches: "Developed", like Miami Beach, and "Wild" like the Galapagos archipelago's beaches.
Planning a beach holiday isn't easy due to the huge array of options. Start by deciding the distance you would like to travel on your vacation, which type of beach you want to visit, and how much time you plan on spending there. A weekend getaway to an idyllic beach such as Baby Beach in Aruba is simple to plan. It doesn't require a lot packing and only requires three days of rest. Surfer's Paradise Beach on Queensland, Australia is a different experience.
There are beaches across every continent, and there are a variety of beaches. There are many freshwater lakes that have beautiful beaches. Consider the nearest beach to you and think of "beaching" close to your home as a type of beach vacation.
